Jane Virgilio will present an overview of how Holy Cross Church in Springfield, MA has been transformed through seventeen years of Catholic Social Teaching formation through the programs of JustFaith Ministries in Louisville, Kentucky.
Deacon Kevin McCarthy and Jane Virgilio will offer a detailed account of one of those transformations-the parish becoming a Maryknoll Affiliate-and how that transformation continues to impact parish life and the broader Springfield Community.
Jane has served the parish of Holy Cross for the past twenty years in various roles, is employed as a project manager for AT&T, and has two adult sons.
Deacon Kevin has been an ordained deacon since 2011 and has been employed as an educator and mission trip leader for Maryknoll for the past six years. Deacon Kevin has led several mission trips to El Salvador, Guatemala and to the border in El Paso, Texas.
